Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore, is a remarkable Hollywood author and actress whose talents have earned the attention of critics and acclaim. She's the daughter of a Sagittarius born on the 3rd of December 1960, in North Carolina. She's the eldest child from Peter Moore Smith a paratrooper and Anne an undergraduate student in psychology. She's English and Scottish. Her father was a professional and often moved her family. She struggled with making or maintaining friendships. Moore was a stage actor during her time at Frankfurt American High School when the family moved to Germany. Her studies continued at Boston University, graduating in 1983 with an B.F.A. She was in Short Cuts (1993) and 3 Women (1997) both productions of Robert Altman. The latter was critically acclaimed and Moore was nominated for several awards for the film. Moore was her first major role on screen in Safe(1995). In 1997 the actress career took a turn as Steven Spielberg cast her to play the lead role in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which became one of 1997's highest-grossing movies. She was a part of Magnolia (1999) that was praised by critics and earned a SAG nomination for her part. The Hours starred Moore in 2002 and was nominated by Nine Academy Awards along with Nicole Kidman. Moore also appeared in The Forgotten (2003), Freedomland (2005), Shelter (2010) and many other movies. She was also in Non-Stop (2014). Moore was in a variety of films and shows. Recently, she was featured in the role of the main character in You Finish Saving The World (2022). As a Hollywood actress and children's writer her career is well-established. She released her first book in 2007 Freckleface Strawberry and quickly became a N.Y.T. The book became a best bestseller, and then was transformed into a television show and musical. The book she wrote in 2013 titled My Mom Is A Foreigner, was also a bestseller. Moore lives a flamboyant life as a well-known actress and novelist. She separated from John Robin in 1995. Moore has two children with Bart Freundlich whom she later married in 2003. Moore is someone who takes pride in her career and family.
